The great advantage of one to one tuition is that individual learning can be truly tailored to each child. From the privileged position of tutor, specific weaknesses and strengths can be swiftly assessed and areas targeted for development through a carefully planned combination of setting challenges and celebrating successes. It is always the tutee who decides whether I am someone he or she can respond to and trust.

Over the years I have worked as a tutor to young people from age 6 to 16 with a range of specific learning challenges including:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder
  • Dyslexia
  • Working/short-term memory impairment

I work as a learning partner to my tutees, in school or at home, sensitive to energy requirements and in accordance with their individual interests.
